My '67 Python has, among other minor quibbles, significant side to side play in the trigger that my '61 Python does not. What sort of remedy would Colt use to correct this when I send the gun in to have the timing and cylinder drag straightened out? Thanks for any and all answers!

Thanks Dfaris, sorry I couldn't respond sooner, my stupid AOL wouldn't let me sign on to this site for a couple of days!! Either way, yes Colt will be doing the work. Thanks to you and others on this forum I don't intend to ever have anyone other than Colt work on my Colts. Unless they quit doing repairs and then I have to send them to C&S. Sometimes hearing what the fix involves can help me figure out what would have caused the problem in the first place. My guess is like we discussed before, someone may have jerked the trigger awfully hard or something dumb. I'm going to have to get the Colt repair guide to just get an even greater appreciation the inner workings of these fine firearms.
