This is the third day of being stuck in the house after an ice storm in Dallas. I'm just going through my photobucket account and looking at pictures from some of my travels and thought I would share.

Home Sweet Home! My "shooting range" Dayton, Nevada (I'm from Nevada, but moved to Dallas two years ago)

Back home, Memphis, TN:

Bob Wright
Before retiring I made the 7 hour trip to Memphis every month. Always took my top agent out to lunch at Leonard's. If this is the one with the green truck inside it was my favorite Bar-B-Que joint in Memphis. Better than Corky's or the Rendezvous, their bar-b-que spaghetti and brisket was to die for!

Here's an old "travel" photo

I think that white line in the background is QL-1.

The spring loaded travel momento was left behind for the tourists to find..... some of them brought it by for some photos

Those are great. and that has to be the best photo of Reno's retreat. It's usually kind of vague. I think they found a skull there in the last 20 years and narrowed it down to a specific trooper. And just yesterday I was looking through
"Colts: From Texas And The Old West" and was reading about that Walter Hale Jr. Colt .45 that belonged to his dad and he shot two bankrobbers with, killing one. Then killed another guy later, as I recall, all with that fancy Colt.
