I am looking to replace the wood grips on my Colt 1909 and Colt 1917. Is there a source for wood replacements that are historically accurate? Are there any shops that can repair them?

Original Colt 1909 and 1917 stocks are a hard find. Every once in a while a pair will come up for auction on Ebay. The price will be high for a nice pair. Expect anywhere from $75.00 to $125.00 for a pair of originals especially the 1909's. Eagle Grips sell walnut reproduction 1917/1909 stocks at $125.00. They sell American Elk Stag stocks for $145.00. That is the only sources I know. Hope this helps. Jim
