At the last range session, my Python cylinder release 'stuck' and would not open without repeated tries. I dripped two drops of Kroil onto the (please excuse my incorrect terminology) axel pin beneath the firing pin and let it set overnight. This did not solve the problem. With the cylinder open, the pin can be pushed in manually and seems to catch on something while coming out. Anyone else have this problem? Is a factory fix called for here? Thanks.

By chance did the little 'nylon' insert ,located under the latch possibly fall or shoot out? This can cause 'binding' (allows the latch to tip out of alignment) making it difficult to 'open'.
