Storage of nickel guns

863 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  dfariswheel
When I store blued handguns for a long time I wrap them in Brownells gun wrap paper with moisture absorbing packs. I have had no problems with this for many years.
I notice that Brownells states that the paper should not come in contact with nickel firearms.
I would like suggestions for wrapping these nickel guns.
Do not want anything that would absorb mositure or give off harmful vapers
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I store all my guns in cloth pistol rugs. I have for 50+ years. Never had a problem, but my safe is in a climate controlled environment.
Brownell's sell two other products you might contact their Tech Staff and ask about. They can tell you if these are compatible with nickel.
