New Member. Colt Officers Model APC just purchased, came with non-original grips (some dark wood- smooth Walnut?) which I don't like much. I like the synthetic black wrap-around front strap checkered rubber with the small gold or silver Colt emblem (not Pachmyer) but can't locate any here. None of my usual US accessory suppliers will ship to New Zealand any more (New rules?), so I guess it will have to wait until I get back to the USA sometime in mid 2014, unless someone can suggest a solution? I have Paypal. (Should I have posted this in buy and sell? If so... Sorry!)

Find what you want to buy here in the United States, tell me where and how much, and I will buy it for you with US dollars you send me. I will then will ship it privately to you, assuming that I would not be breaking any New Zealand law. (Surely there is no law against a set of stocks, is there? Or would a set of stocks be considered some kind of illegal gun part?)

On occasion I have bidders from overseas bid on my eBay auctions. The USPS has a web page titles "Countries and Localities" that list postal regulations. I use this as a reference, as I am not opposed to shipping some minor parts to anothe gun person as long as it does not violate any import restrictions.

Numrich now advise buyers that they "Do not ship outside of Continental USA". That's a change, but I understand it's a rule from US Mail about exporting "Gun Parts" to hostile countries (and, presumably, New Zealand) Just when our Government has relented and is allowing nuclear powered US Navy ships here again. The last time US Navy ships came here in quantity my sister got pregnant. Mind you that was 1944, and she married the guy. Off topic, sorry (newbie)

Also, if you could find replacement screws - mine have been butchered - I like the Allen head not slotted head? Am I being too pushy? You can probably buy the stocks screws directly from Brownell's. If you cannot, I will order those as well and send them with the stocks. I will send you an email message as soon as I can get to it.
