Agreed all around. The really impressive part of Alan's work is knowing the wreck he started with. That was impressive! But fun to have 1st and 2nd Gen stickies.

There’s something about matched pairs of SAAs when one might be 1st generation and the other post war that I did not realize when I had my 1957 and 1920 guns engraved. I prefer old style round bottom trigger guards but thank God my two guns had identical flat bottom guards. It would haunt me every time I look at them together had I not lucked out there and one was round and the other flat.
