Beautiful Python...maybe...a home run

Hi, I received this in trade for an event property rental (the value being $700). Blueing is mint, bore has, appearance wise, almost zero use wear.
I'm going to request docs from Colt this week. It is a beautiful piece, have sent a few rounds downrange and absolutely love the trigger.

Was really pumped, at first, thought was the coveted, 3 inch barrel. Forgot I had to measure from the breech end.

Stronghorn you are correct it is E Nickle when i purchased the gun from the former owner he told me it was originally his fathers gun and he was under the impression it was brushed Stainless it didn't occur to me to be anything but, and i figured it to be the best brushed stainless i had ever seen until someone else mentioned it must be E Nickle im stilll very happy with it,, only paid $1100 im sure its worth a bit more.
