Here's my Python - I've owned it since 76" - DOB 1967. Bought it about 2 months after I got married - I've still got her also. I paid a whoppin' $100.00 for it. Took a wild boar with it in Tennessee, and carried it on many hunting trips, also a few times around the local jungles here - but thats another story.
Very glad to hear that you still have her—along with your Python! I especially appreciate that thought at the bottom of your post: “In America, wealth is not redistributed—it’s earned!” May I ‘borrow’ that quote, please?

I haven't shot mine in over a year. The virus sort of put an end to my range visits, and once I started going again, I've mostly been shooting one of my 22 Bullseye guns. I get the Python out every so often and look at it.

The original grips were fine, but I like the Nill grips more, because they fit my hands the best.

I shoot 38 Special in this gun, and with my S&W Model 14. So far, the Python, in my hands, shoots the best.
