As some of you know, a reputed Colt specialist turned out to be a complete drone. Hopefully, he's out of the biz for good. I wasted 2 1/2 years of my life on this person and my "Fitz" project. I've moved on, selling the donor firearm, taking the proceeds with a little "boot" to procure my other "grail" firearm, a 625-3 made in 1989. Frankly, I'm much happier with this one without the nagging worry of cutting up a historic firearm. For your enjoyment....

I too have the 625-3 disease. I think more people would if they shot one at the range once.



I'm not sure why there aren't more .45 ACP revolvers out there.

It was a distressed 1917 that needed TLC. Almost anything would make it better & maybe different. I kinda let myself get carried away -----
