The Quick Kill Program

The military learned that a fair percentage of people could hit a BB tossed in the air after training.

Long before the Quick Kill/Skill I learned to shoot in the back yard with various BB rifles and pistols.
You learn to shoot by shooting, and the skills learned with a BB or pellet gun really do transfer over to actual firearms.

Getting quickly bored with shooting paper targets, I went to shooting beer cans tossed in the air.
Having three older brothers there was always a good supply of empties.
They won a number of bets with their buddies that I could make a difficult shot. (Funny, I never saw any of the money).
I couldn't do it every time, but if I could get the can to align properly in the air, I could often put a BB INTO the can through the beer can opener hole. This was before the tab tops.
This sounds unbelievable, but remember, the Army found some people could hit a tossed BB. The hole in the can is much bigger.
