I almost always carried a concealed handgun on duty, 90% of the time in violation of some rule or another......almost got in trouble a few times when I was a Major, told the Colonel on first occasion and General on the other my thinking, which was "if something f---ed up happens and nobody in here has a gun, I am not going to look on helplessly while something happens to my men.....period". The O6's response was "where can I get a holster like that" and the O7 was "forget I mentioned it". Sometimes a Detective Special.....but I have a little Seecamp that has been in more embassies than a Columbian hooker.
