Colt Python 6" Nickel Flawless/Perfect
Absolute Auction - No Minimum/No Reserve

New or a refinish ? Box looks slightly suspect but I'm no expert on cardboard by any means. Would appreciate some input from members!
Auction # 390533811

Just noticed that front sight pins are not nickel.... that isn't right is it?

I can not click on your link for some reason, but many board members were actually talking about that gun yesterday. Nothing good about the gun or the box. I would stay away
Nickel guns should have nickel front sight pins. Box is reproduction, grips look like repro's... That seller has had many Pythons that were fishy. I would stay away from that one.

PR2222 from Dayton OH has been the subject of many threads on questionable Colts and some unlucky guy just hit the "Buy Now".

I was perusing the new listings and saw it first thing this morning, looked good, almost too good. Noticed the front sight pins and that set off some alarms.
BTW, I think you and I were bidding on the E-nickel last week. Looked like a nice one, had one just like it in 81 or 82 ?? Think I sold it to make some child support payments. Also, think I paid around $ 300 or so brand new !

Yes we were. I have been buying all of the nice E-Nickel Pythons in the box I can find for under $2,500. I think they are under valued due to the limited production. Hopefully it will pay off for my kids some day. Thanks for letting me have that gun. The seller is a Forum Member and a great guy.
