It just seems like a very pricey starting point for a gun with no box
Thanks for the input...that's kind of what I figured was the issue but wasn't sure. Do you know how much it would normally go for without the box?

GA has this listed (with a box):
Colt Python Brushed Stainless 6 Complete for sale (902707483)
which seems like an awesome looking Python, but seems really expensive even though it has a box.

Just trying to gauge how much Pythons should go for...looking to buy one as my first gun (that I will shoot at the range). But I don't want to make the wrong call on it / spend way too much as I'm still learning what to look out for.

Not that they cost a lot but it also has had the grips replaced.
Hah, totally missed that the grips were replaced. And also, from pics of other Pythons, the front sight usually has a red mark on it, but this one doesn't. Maybe that was replaced too? Or did Colt make Pythons with all black front sights?
