But it is just too darn cold. I fired 21 rounds into the plate at my standard 23 yard testing range and I couldn't keep a good steady hold . The gun functioned perfectly but I am going to have to up the charge as the cases are very sooty. I will do it slowly. Right now I am using 3.6 grains of trailboss under 200 grain lead. The pistol is functioning great with them but obviously I am not creating enough pressure to seal the chamber. Loads appear to be hitting low but with how cold it is out there it is just not scientific, or an accurate representation of the pistols capabilities. Come this spring or a warmer day I will work it over really good and tailor some nice loads for it. Shooting the old gal sure is fun though

Edit: Of course I took a picture of the target upside down. It is so cold the plate split.
