What's the problem of having a trigger shoe?
I have recently read somewhere that it is dangerous to have one installed on the 1911 trigger. I have had one on my Super .38 for over 25 years and have not noticed any problems. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks

There was some worry that the shoe could slip and jam the trigger, causing the gun to fail to fire.

However, the big hazard with all trigger shoes, is a very real danger of the extra-wide trigger shoe catching on the holster or on something else, and accidentally pulling the trigger.

This isn't as big a hazard with the 1911 due to the grip safety, but it COULD happen, and trigger shoes are at least potentially dangerous.
