Hi,
A local shop has a 4" Trooper Mark 3, serial number 23411J, its wearing rubber grips, priced at $225.00 OTD.
It was a local LEO's which he bought when the Department was switching over to bottom feeders. Seems to have been shot little and carried a lot. Lock up, timing and trigger are excellent. No pitting or nicks, but lots of bluing wear.
The LEO just traded it in and he received it new at the Department( one owner).
How is the price as a shooter? Seems as though it would be an excellent woods and camp gun.
What is the year?
Thanks for any suggestions and information, Jim

23411J was made in 1973.
The numbers picked up that year at 01601J, and ended at around 28800J by the end of the year.

Depending on how MUCH blue wear there is, and actual condition of the mechanics, that's a fair price.

Dfariswheel,
Thanks for the information.
I'm 99.9% certain that the mechanics of the revolver are 100%.
Bluing wear locations are typical of a police holstered revolver. Barrel, cylinder and strong side of frame.I would guess revolvers finish to be 70%.
Its a 357.
Thanks, Jim
