Time to post my Troopers. I was very lucky to find a Florida Highway Patrol at a local gun shop about 1-1/2 years ago. Didn't know what it was at the time, just liked it for the price. Then I read about them; Colt only made the only 5" and nickel plated Original Troopers for the FHP.; less than 1,000 made. So I pulled the non-original grips and Viola; FHP 313.

The other two are a MK III and MK V. I removed the grips so you can see the different mainspring configurations.

I was picking up a Colt SAA from my dealer when he showed me this Trooper in 22LR. I didn’t know anything about Colt revolvers (still don't) other than some SAA’s and a Detective Spl I’ve had for a long time…mostly study and shoot S&W revolvers. Anyway, it was in perfect condition so I figured $350 wasn’t a bad price.

BEAUTIFUL GUN! And you stole it. Cheap!!!!!! I want 1. My Colt Trooper is a 1978 .357 6".
