I have these two 357. One is 1955 with target hammer and full size wooden grips(rubber shown so I can use speed loader) and a 1956 with regular hammer but funny skinny rear and front sights. Both are very accurate. The 1955 should be two tone but after careful clean still don't see it. The 1956 has these skinny sights - any comments? Thanks

Matte finish on frame edges and cylinder flutes looks right to me. Looks like the front blade filed on sides to use with the very narrow rear sight blade.

Yes after taking a loope 10x it is indeed filed. So then the rear is after market? Also I know now what dual tone looks like. Thanks
