I ended up passing on these two but they definately had my interest for awhile:

6" Blue Python 4-Digit serial number from 1959. The gun was in "OK" shape with the usual wear you'd expect from a gun that old. It had the original checkered grips but they appear to have been warped. There was a small gap on the bottom of the grip near the trigger guard. I'd rate the gun at approximately 80 to 85% in overall condition. Asking price was $1250 plus tax. I think I could have gotten it for $1100 plus tax but I thought that was still a bit steep...

6" SS King Cobra (no box or paperwork) in pretty decent shape (95%) for $600. The thing I noticed about this gun that made it rather special was the serial number 0005 (or maybe 00005). Could this have been the 5th KC released to the public?

I did score two other nice Colts (2" blue Lawman in box, 4" blue Trooper no box), so I couldn't take them all home with me...
