Uberti or Pietta SAA?

We've had both, both are nice.
Overall about equal fit and finish Pietta vs Uberti.
The Uberti's seem to have better action timing then the Pietta.
The Pietta is closer to a Colt pattern then the Uberti, the Uberti being a bit larger.

My Uberti was the old Model frame with the so-called charcoal blue. It had the "3 clicks" firing pin safety and I also changed it out to the traditional "C-O-L-T"

My Pietta is a Cimarron "Frontier 44 WCF" I like it a bit more then the Uberti. Mine had too much cylinder free spin where the action was on half cock allowing the cylinder to float. I am not a fan of the coil spring behind the hand. I put a Smith Enterprise hand in it and it helped a lot. I didn't quite get it "perfect' but a major improvement, besides I'm a 1911 mechanic not a S.A.A. one, but I'm learning. My brother had two Pietta's, now has one, and the action on his are fine, his are Great Western II, "Alchemistas"
