My local dealer has a NIB Gold Cup National Match Ultimate Stainless (HIGHLY POLISHED) .45 for sale. Price is about $1000.00. I realize that a fair price is one that one is willing to pay. I have owned many Gold Cups, but this one is drop dead gorgeous. Is the price in line with current values?

Re: Nickel Gold Cup NM Series 80 pricing?

What age? Is the nickel factory? For a factory nickel Gold Cup, it sounds cheap to me.

Re: Nickel Gold Cup NM Series 80 pricing?

Judge,
I really have to stop posting at 2AM. I just finished talking to a buddy about an older nickel gun and posted that the Gold Cup was nickel. In fact, it is Ultimate highly polished Stainless. The finish is "perfect" and the gun has never been out of the box. I am clueless to the prices of the specialized "show" guns, since I am a bullseye shooter and hunter. I put the gun aside, and I will probably never get hurt at the asking price, but I need some guidance if it is out-of-line.
Thanks,
Terry

If it is indeed "perfect" and has "never been out of the box"...( that sounds very unlikely)... it is a very fair price.
