Value of 4\" Python ??

I've searched some forums but can't seem to find an answer. I'm looking at one from Jan '88, blk on blk sights, stock wooden grips, .357. It's been a safe queen.

Re: Value of 4\" Python ??

If it looks unfired and have the box and goodies then I would say $800 at the most. $700 to $750 if it's just the revolver.
I personally pay that for 1960s models, but that seems to be what even the newer models are bringing. Seeing where you are I guess that price must be adjusted upwards.

Re: Value of 4\" Python ??

Can someone tell me about when the following Python was made and a guesstimate on a retail price?

Factory-nickeled 4", serial no. V197xx, factory wood grips; overall, estimate 98% condition.

Thanks!
