My father-n-law left me this old revolver from 1912. I am trying to determine a value for it. I have a letter from Colt Historical on it's origins. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. thanks
It’s been reblued over pitting and it has “Coltwood” stocks from a later revolver. Its sentimental value will likely be greater than its monetary value if your FIL was fond of it. Guns like this are typically priced higher than they actually sell for. Around me, it’s a $300-350 gun assuming it’s mechanically perfect and has a bright bore. Hope this helps!
