Value on Ivory Grips?

Curious what the value on these grips may be. I do not have a package, or letter, but they are genuine Ivory. They were mounted on my unfired .40 1911 until I sold it. I no longer have a use for them but am unsure of value. I seen a pair of thin ones go for 300 recently on this site, so would like input on value. These are for full size 1911's.

Hi there chaosrob;

The ivory grips you show here are worth anywhere from $175.00 and up to about $225.00 brand new depending on where you buy them.

Since yours are not new, and without a lot of grain or color, I would expect you would get $200.00 for them.

Matchlock,
Thank you very much for the imput. if that is all they are worth I'm better off keping them for the next colt 1911 that will be coming down the road in the future.
Yes probably better kept, all Ivory grips are not created equal, Matchlock is spot on they may go for $200 to someone but no more than that
I was a little low on my first reply. I've edited my post to reflect a different value.

As Mike has pointed out, that would be a very high estimate. Like Mike says, I would also keep them. Especially if you plan on buying another 1911.

There is always another 1911 guys, I just do not currently have a blue one. If I ever find an early commercial with great original finish these would look great on them. Thank you very much for your assistance.
I'm assuming your thanks is directed at both Mike and I, so on behalf of Mike and myself, I'll say, "you're welcome", and we're glad that we could be of help to you.
