Things that wander into the shop..........

Who doesn’t fantasize about one of these. Came in with some other guns......

1968-1969 vintage National Match .45 with original box and docs and even the test target!

#30252 NM

Doesnt appear to have been shot much.

I thought the two tone frame/slide combo was a bit different. Did Colt do that in that era?

RMV,
Nice complete outfit but I don't think Colt did the two tone in the 68-69 time period. From a collectors view point, SHAME on the guy that did that.

Ira Paine,

I've only seen the two tone one's starting in the early 1980's or so.

However, this gun is in such great condition (as is the box and docs) that I wonder if it might not be correct as is. Perhaps a special order?

I -hate- getting historical letters from Colt, but this one may need one.

Does anybody else have any thoughts on 2 tone colts?

RVM,
Anything's possible. Give them a call, tell them before you waste $ 100. on a letter you want to know if the finish is right, they may tell you.
