Kings Gun Works is now American Gun Works. Current owner Jeff Bregman bought the business a few years ago following the death of the original owner. Many of the same employees still work there. I was in the shop last summer doing some business and it is still in the same location on Glenoaks Blvd with the original store front, save the new name. You walk in the shop and it is as if it were 25 years ago, which is a good thing. One of the employees is a gal named, Laura who has worked there for years and was in charge of the supply and parts room. She advises that they still have a large inventory of Kings Gun Works 1911 parts that are no longer being made. I would recommend you contact either Jeff or Laura and ask if the part you are looking for is still available. You might very well be surprised. Good luck!
