Were Colt Single Action Army Revolvers issued to the Secret Service? If so, when? What configuration? How many? Any distinctive markings? Anyone on Forum have one?

Initially, all weapons were private purchase and there was no standardization and thus no marking, if any.

If you're looking at something purported to be USSS - provenance needs to be ironclad.

The Secret Service sort of evolved from Pinkerton's Detective Agency. Those operatives favored the smaller Smith & Wesson top breaks of the day in .38 S&W caliber, as well as the Merwin Hulbert revolvers. Likely they would have followed that pattern.
