What is the value of a Colt Lawman Mk III with a DIY bobbed hammer?

What is the consensus on the value of this gun? My plan would be to send it back to Colt to replace the hammer and have it re-blued. At the asking price of 550 and the cost to re-blue and replace the hammer am I under water on this gun? Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Adding the costs of refinishing, a new hammer and shipping and you can buy a much nicer one that hasn't been screwed with.

Yup, that is what I was thinking. Some times the money in our pockets is just burning a whole to get something. Thanks.

all I would do is finish bobbing that hammer. a good gunsmith could finish the job.
