I have a 90s production DS with the shrouded ejector. I am trying to give it a retro look by using wood stocks and a Pachmayr grip adapter. Numrich Gun Parts lists two kinds of grip adapters for Colt DS.

One is "small" and the other is "large".

Which one do I need? Thanks!

I have a Pachmayr D-frame adapter that is model marked "7S" (for "Small"). It protrudes below the butt of my 2nd Model Agent (with shrouded ejector rod, short butt and small stocks), but it fit a ca. 1960 1st Model Cobra (unshrouded ejector & original long butt/stocks) just right. If you're going to fit your piece with the abbreviated stocks such as those that came on the later model Agent, you will probably need to trim a #7S to conform.

HTH.
