He works on the pistols. Does he also work on the rifles? That’s what I’m looking for.......

My gunsmith friend who passed away at an early age once told me that he avoided working on Lightning Pistols and Revolvers because there was so much 'hand fitting' that had to be done to repair those guns and that in about 90% of the time, the owners brought them back in after the repairs because the repair 'didn't last.'
They are great guns 'when they work.'

Just FYI. Paul Persinger also works on 1877 Lightning revolvers. He brought one back to life for me last year. Not sure if he's still doing revolvers after his stroke.

I shoot cowboy action and one of my local members mention “the guy” for lightning rifles. I can’t remember who it is but I will shoot this Sunday and if this cowboy is there, I will get a name.
