Beautiful scroll work on that cylinder.
Seems a shame to waste it on a smith though.

Wish I could find that type of work on a Colt --------which is a good point -I have 3 engraved guns ...2 Smiths and a 1903 .But if you really go on a hunt -it is ,IMHO difficult to find nicely engraved Colts ---------I think they get overdone and 'HIDE" the gun ??????????
I am right now looking to have one of my Pythons engraved -------any ideas???

Just kidding about the smith! Thats an extremely nice job they did.
I don't own any engraved guns. they're too expensive and I'm a shooter anyway. It would be a shame to spend all that money and then take it out to the range and dirty it up.
