I have for sale a Original Colt Python, an Engraved pre Woodsman, and a 2nd gen 1851 Navy "C" Series. I have lowered the price on all three pistols.

Here I have for sale a Colt Python, one of the originals, made in 1981. Except for a couple small dings on the back of the grip, it is in excellent condition. Please note that my firearm dealer is selling this too. First to purchase it gets the pistol. I am doing this, and using his photos, with his permission. I will allow for a three day inspection period. My telephone number is (520) 904-8949.

I am asking $2300 for it. Buyer pays shipping.

EDIT Lowered price

This is an engraved pre Woodsman with serial number 46XXX made in 1926. It is one of two of this model that has been engraved by Jim Sornberger in March of 1996. It comes with thick ivory grips, which is unusual due to the long standing embargo. It is in Mint condition. No marks on it. Pristine blueing with engraving. Never fired.

I am permitting a three day inspection period. If I find one mark on in as a return, I will ship it back to you. I think is understandable considering the work of art this is. Telephone number is (520) 904-8949.

This has been SOLD.

EDIT Lowered price.

Here is the original "C" Series 2nd gen 1851 Navy. This is the first model that was produced by Colt of the 2nd gen series. This has a serial number of 7316, which was made in 1972, about 48 years ago. The previous owner found it in storage "goo" which he cleaned off before selling to me. So I will list this as in Mint condition. No marks. Pristine blueing. Never fired. No drag line.

Please note the tarnished silver strap on it. The rest of the silver has evenly tarnished to this reflective dark "blue" color, as can be seen from the photo of the back strap. The partial removal of the tarnish in that photo must be from handling. The box is beat up a bit. This pistol has not been cleaned more than its initial cleanup of the storage goo. There is no evidence of rust on this one, in part due to the storage in a desert climate.

I am selling this for $650. No lower offers accepted,

The method of shipping will be determined by the buyer. The buyer will pay for shipping charges. I can look up the cost for you.

BTW This is only the second percussion pistol that I have come across with tarnished silver. I find tarnish relatively uncommon.

EDIT Lowered price.
