WTS section feedback

Because I can't leave feedback on a closed ad in the WTS section without bumping it back to the top (thereby knocking new ads further down), I can't post this there. But I did want to share my positive experience purchasing a pistol from mafd2 recently. He posted a NIB Blued Colt O1991A1 in the WTS section in September http://www.coltforum.com/forums/wan...del-0-1911-1991-government-series-80-nib.html and I jumped on it. Dealing with him was stress-free--a real pleasure. He responded to PM's in a timely manner, he kept me informed of his progress getting the pistol to his dealer, he let me know when to expect delivery, and the pistol arrived just as described. That hasn't always happened to me when buying and selling on forums, and when it does, I like to let others know about it. Buy from mafd2 with confidence!

Yes Chris is a great guy, I think most long time members here know this. He can be trusted 110% :). Thanks for sharing your experience. Actually I believe you can post back on a sold classified thread if you were the buyer. I know alot of members do including myself. Actually I done it tonight with Tmicheal selling the prop rods which I received mine yesterday and looked great. However with you starting a thread here, which is fine also, there is probably no need to. Glad you liked your Colt, I missed that one, but that's not uncommon. I try not to look much because I've bought just about all I can handle recently. Seems like it runs that way. Go awhile and can't find nothing your looking for, then you run across a few, which is a good thing, not so good for the bank account though:)...

It's that Big_Gus you have to watch out for :). Most people here are as trustworthy as I have found anywhere. I may not agree with them all the time, but I have never been stiffed, and have met some great folks, and gotten great deals.
Glad to hear that posting feedback in the WTS is kosher after all. I looked around for a bit and couldn't find anything in the rules or FAQ that specifically prohibited it. But in the spirit of wanting each seller to get as much time on the first page as he could, I refrained from bumping a page 5 ad back to page 1.
A feedback subsection would be nice and as you stated it keeps from bumping and old ad back to the top when the deal is over. As Big_Gus stated the props from Tmichael arrived here as well and was very pleased with the transaction and product. Thanks T :)
Or maybe there is a way to create a feedback area on your profile underneath your avatar. So when you post something and your info is to the left in that section could be a + or - and a number like gun broker uses. You click on it and it goes to the actual feedback left.

I think this is a great idea, but it would probably be very hard for them to do something like that. I imagine this would be very complicated. Again it is a great idea imo, most people go and look at the profile before they buy something. I know I do unless it is a long time member I already know is trustworthy, as most here are.

HA ha, yes you've really gotta watch out for that guy... only if your "Vik", the FBG ;).

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
