Quite possibly look at bringing back the .38 cal 8" version. No wait that would be a stretch.

I’ve seen a few more of the new 6” blued pythons for purchase again. Online and a local shop to me just got one in. Funny .. it’s a pretty low serial number too. Mine is numerically 150 or so after it , but I saved more than $150 with my seller, so I’m good with it.
looking around to see if there’s more 4.25 on the way. I’m good but others would like one.

The new blued is so close, its Just simply worth the money for the results that Colt has produced there. If it was a bit off, or dull, I would be disappointed, but I’m not. I’m very impressed that Colt made a blued gun that still has a wow factor.
Like other members have said, it's hard to find current revolvers with as nice a blue finish as the new Python - at least at it's retail price.

I was going to wait for Colt to release a 3" version but when I had this 4 1/4" in hand I could not resist. Anyone on the fence about buying one my recommendation is just buy one. I think you'll be impressed with the new finish. Colt did an impressive job with the bluing and I still plan on buying a 3" version when they become available. I think a blued Combat Elite really would really look good. Although I think the service grips look and feel good, my Deer Hollow Gen 1 grips look even better.

That's a great looking piece and the finish looks lovely, but man I can't get over how much I don't like the added third vent in the barrel rib on the blued 4.25" models.

That's good news. I'm ready to buy a 6", but the few places that still have inventory only have one left and I don't want to buy the floor model that's been passed around like a cheap whore.
