It’s getting closer by the week. I’ve said this many times before…if you're interested in all things Colt, this is where you need to be this coming October. Four months away! My one regret about this year's show is that our old friend Bob Florin (Swamp Yankee) won't be there to light up the room with that smile of his.

My question in threads like this is always this: If you aren't a member of the Colt collectors Association, why not? For the price of about a tank-and-a-half of gas, you can get a year's membership, which also includes a subscription to The Rampant Colt, the best looking and most informative publication put out by any collectors association.

I'll add that membership offers the unspoken benefit of giving members the opportunity to make new friends whose interests most likely coincide with your own. And in this day and age, we need all the friends we can get.
