.44 special new service vs. Blackhawk, 20 yds. rested, all same bullet, 240grn semi wadcutter, 3 powders, I think its pretty close, fixed sight, vs. adjustable, I didn't have to adjust the Blackhawk, its right out of the box.

thanks mitch; sorry, no .44 Smith, the late models new services are a pleasure to shoot, sights are better. on another subject, any chance of seeing Olde English Outfitters at Cardinal Center? did Jaqua's closing affect your business?
Didn't know Jaqua's closed . Their website doesn't mention it .
They specialize in higher end shotguns as you know . Our business is mostly "regular" firearms . We would send customers their way for specialized shotguns we didn't have a source for . Good people .
No plans for the Cardinal Center I'm aware of . After The Grand American left us we quit "traveling" .
Nice guns and shootin'. I started reloading long ago with a .44 Special Lee Loader. I even reloaded at work during lunch breaks. Told you it was long ago. But I now reload on an old Pacific press and still use the 6.4 grain Unique scoop from that Lee Loader. About the same as your load.
