I made this heavy lined full cartridge belt a few years ago with scrap leather a freind gave me. It has 37 cartridge loops because I just put as may as would fit. Later I made a Brill style holster with canted butt. But I'm not a Border lawman. I don't ride the border with Charles Askins or Tom Threepersons. So I made a neutral hanging similiar holster with open toe to accomidate a 5 1/2" Colt, too. This holster is good for gun twirling. The other one isn't. That's the new one on the belt now. I'm not sure if I'll dye the hammer thong black.
