Your cobra looks very nice; congrats. I like a gun with a little wear so i don’t have qualms about being the first to scratch it. I do carry my 50s cobra from time to time, and shoot it once in a while using various target and SD rds; but I avoid +P.

Hi everyone, could anyone help she'd some light on my cobra's year of manufacture?
It doesn't come up on the Colt website lookup.
S/n is 128609

You’re in luck. The Colt Letter for my Cobra, S/N 128875, is July 9, 1962. Practically siblings!

P.S. I think the website needs the “LW” after the serial number to work.

Just picked up this guy at the pawn shop, very clean not a Mark on it. colt says born in "1974" even came with the vintage Idaho leather company holster to boot! Unfortunately no box or papers but I like it anyhow.....shoot even had to put my favorite watch in hock to get it but I feel it was the right decision.

hell, yes..... you can get the time off your phone

I also made a spur the moment purchase of a Cobra the other day. Just picked it up, looks pretty good. I do like how much lighter it is from my usual carry, a Detective Special.

The LGS here has one just like yours. I think I need to go back and see if they have it still. Price is 695 and maybe they will come down.
