And Just a Few More. My "Trio" of Detective Specials (Left to Right... 1980 E-Nickel, 1981 Blue, 1978 Bright Nickel) all LNIB. I just noticed the different style grips on the E-Nickel gun from 1980. This one was from the Colt Custom Shop. Might this explain the apparent "out of date" grips?

I will add my pics of newly acquired DS. 1975 model with Pachs. There are a few light scratches and just a bit of cloudiness around the latch and Rampant Colt. Overall very pleased with it. Replaced the Pachs with orginal DS stocks.

@ssgunnip...yes, original factory shroud. The only Colt I have that I can honestly say has not been fired. I also believe that goes for the factory. Box and papers. All there. Slight turn ring between 3 cylinders only. Right side grip has what seems to be a spot of glue. Box is beat up but at least I know it is not a repro. Label has come unglued but it is still there.

Hello, new member from Ohio here, thought I'd share a pic of my first and favorite gun in my collection. A 2nd generation Detective Special that my grandfather passed down to me. Got a chance to shoot this gun with him when I was 8 or 9 yrs old. Sorry, not the best pic, had to take it with my phone.
