This is how I brought her home. No box or papers and she was wearing a set of Pachmayr grips. Fortunately for me, I had an original set of factory wood grips in my "Box O' Gun Parts" that I had taken off a DS many years ago. I really like the looks and feel of the wood grips!

Speed loaders are already enroute and now all I need to do is find a proper holster:)!

Welcome! I personally think the best part of owning guns is shooting them. As often as I can. Second would be reloading ammo so that I can go shoot them some more. Otherwise they are just really neat paper weights. 😆
 
I did not find an 'official' DS photo thread. If there is one, please include this. If not, please Colt fans, have at it.

Many of us love the little snubbies and, to me, there's no better snubnose than the well-built and beautifully proportioned Colt Detective Special.

This was my first ever Gunbroker purchase. Vintage 1975.
