This is my 1966 (first year of production) .38 that I bought used in 1996. Shows very little use, although it has been fired. It has been a safe queen since I purchased it. I took it's first photo with a homemade light box and wanted to show it off!

New Diamonback owner here. Just picked up this '75 Blue 4" 38 spcl and am looking to put a lot of holes in some paper real soon...Lol.

I have to say, there are some really pretty ponies on this thread, I think one day I could see finding a nickel model to go with my blue.

I don't think I posted the photos of the twins in this particular thread. Both are 6" Nickel D-backs in 38spl. The one with the odd labeled/heritage box was a factory display gun sold several years after manufacture. Both are lettered

If you like them and they fit your hand well, that's all that matters. Kind of cool that the 'look' responds to the diamondback snake skin theme. Were they mine, I'm sure one of my wise-cracking buds would call them fish scales causing him to have to buy his own beer after our shooting session!
