I spotted these at the Tulsa show in April.

 

I also notice the tag says the DS II is Nickel. That would be rare!

 

Snakeman99 sold one for 2k a few months ago. It was a new in box example

 

Ha! Pretty funny the guy thinking or trying to fool someone into believing a polished DSll is nickel. Anyway, his 2k pricing in my opinion is high for those two short barrels. The 3” is scarcely seen and the 4” even more so. I bought a 3” in the box a year or so ago but I think today it would be worth $1200 to $1500. Without the box would probably bring around a $1000.

 

Yeah, I sold this one back in April for $2,000.

The 4" version is very tough to locate. I've only ever run across two of them.

The DS-II with the 4" barrel is by far the hardest of the series to find, but I've never heard of any production figure estimates. As one of my fellow Forum members is fond of saying, "rare as hen's teeth" I would guess. I shake the D-Frame tree quite often, and only two have fallen out in the past 20 years that I can remember...
