This one is swirling around the internet right now:

‘To find out what’s really going on, we asked CZ-USA directly. Here’s the statement they gave us . . .

In response to recent inquiries to CZ-USA, Colt Canada is not and will not be involved in the Canadian Government firearms buy-back program from Canadian citizens. Their activities in Canada remain focused on serving military and law enforcement customers.

So there you have it. Enjoy your weekend.’

I'd be curious as to how they would be involved if it is in fact the other way
I pulled this off another forum. I have no idea whether or not it’s accurate/ true.

The idea that Colt Canada would be the only facility that could help destroy confiscated firearms is a bit strange/ far fetched.

Unless, they are counting on there being an increased level of security at the Colt facility vice a foundry or wrecking yard with a car crusher I can’t see why Colt Canada would be involved.

CZ-USA — Colt Canada’s parent company — told Breitbart News, “Colt Canada is not and will not be involved in the Canadian Government firearms buy-back program from Canadian citizens.”
This clarification comes after numerous social media users have claimed and/or suggested CZ USA’s Colt Canada is involved in a current firearms buyback program.
But CZ-USA’s communique with Breitbart News indicates Colt Canada has not been and will not be involved in the buyback program.
CZ-USA’s Dylan Rice stressed, “Colt Canada’s activities in Canada remain focused on serving military and law enforcement customers.”

The guns were bought back or confiscated under royal proclamation of their King Justin Trudeau. If the Canadian Gov't contracted CZ/Colt Canada, (who makes their versions of the M-16 & M-4 in Canada), to "dispose of them", well that's just business north of our border. I'd bet Canadian lawyers and politicians carefully worded the contract to prevent any loopholes.

So then, while 'I'm not actually an attorney, I do play one on TV the internet...."
Is it not possible for an entity to full-square say that “Colt Canada is not and will not be involved in the Canadian Government firearms buy-back program from Canadian citizens.” While still engaging in a destruction contract?

Too, it's interesting that the quote does not contain; "CZ".

Maybe it all depends upon what the meaning of the words 'is' is....:ROFLMAO:

Maybe have a gander at CanadianGunNutz.com and see what they think up there.
