Safety Glasses Problem

With this horrible summer weather around I have a problem with my shooting glasses fogging up. I would like some suggestions on how to prevent this from happening while still having a crystal clear lens. Some things work, like spit, Dawn dish soap, and Vaseline, but then the sight picture is gone. The local sport shop has a spray on lens cleaner that is supposed to stop fogging but the shop owner says it doesn't work very well.

I use dish soap. Rub the dish soap onto the len's. You have to let it dry thoroughly. Then use a micro-fibre cloth to rub clear. Works like a charm for me. I think the trick is to let it completely dry. Once the dry soap film is rubbed off, it doesn't leave any percievable film on the len's. I've used this for years.

I've found that ordinary DRY plain hand soap, (the bar kind) works well for this.

Just take a mostly used up old bar of soap and apply it dry to the lenses. Coat the lenses with the soap, let it sit for a minute or two and then wipe it off with a dry cloth. Don't wipe too hard, just hard enough to take the thick soap off and until the lenses are clear.

If you do this with your bathroom mirrors, you'll have clear fog-free mirrors whenever you step out of the shower.

Some safety glass manufacturers sell glasses with an anti fog coating already applied for a few cents more than non coated. As a machinist its a common problem for me. Safetyglassesusa.com is who I buy mine from, huge selection, the glasses will have an AF (anti-fog) attached to model number. No affiliation to the company, I've just used them for years.
