$230? Assuming its not a total train wreck that's a steal.

 

For that price I'd buy it.

The Hombre is okay just not as pretty as the usual Uberti.
We had one in .357 but didn't like the feel or balance compared to the .44 & .45.​

Here's my old Stoeger/Uberti. I have had it for quite a while and have shot thousands of rounds through it, mostly black powder, with out a hitch. I found it at the LGS for $300, it was all pretty back then, I engraved it and antiqued it then shot the heck out of it for years, I still do. If mine is any indication, Yours will give you years of good service.

 

That’s a good price on the Hombre.
Some forum members may remember if they saw it, but about maybe 6 years ago or so, there was a gunbroker seller that sold several hundred Hombre guns in both 45LC and 357 for $250 plus shipping. . Must have been a huge bulk buy from a Uberti , but he surely sold them all. I bought two and traded them at the local gun shop for a small profit towards some Colts at the time. That was a fleeting and one time deal.

I think retail is in the $400+ range.. I’d buy it for $250 if I was in the market for one.

 

Hell of a good shooter for $230...or about the price of a good hotel room. Buy the gun and stay home
