I am looking for a source to price a November 93 Colt Sporter Match HBAR with small take down pins, small trigger pins, sear block and a bayo lug. The bayo lug is throwing me for a loop considering the manufacturing date. I live in a ban state and have a decent sense of where the value lands here. Any push in the right direction would be appreciated.

The B MP 1/9 marking on the barrel is the giveaway. The rifle has a Bushmaster upper on a Colt lower (or a Colt upper receiver with a Bushmaster barrel). Nothing inherently wrong with that but you should know what you are buying or representing to sellers.

Best,

Brewer

This is the original factory markings of the Colt HBAR heavy profile barrels with 1/9 twist.

Also per BiggerHammer.net here are the meanings of the letters markings on the barrels:

B = Bushmaster

C = Colt

D = Diemaco (now Colt of Canada)

FNMI = FN

SAK = SACO

Your upper receiver is a genuine Colt with the forge marking C means Colt and the forging company is M Martin Marietta.

Now that I see picture and additional posts - I wouldn’t pay $1200 for a Colt lower , the upper would be literally worthless to me . I still say in New England ban states that’s a $1500 rifle though.
