This is my first attempt at posting pictures so please be patient if I screw it up. Here are some Colt PP in 32 (Long) Colt from 1912 and 1914. Also, are some Colt PPS in 38 SPL from 1912 and 1919. You can tell the difference in their bluing process between 1919 and the earlier ones where the blue finish is really "blue".

Top is a S&W Regulation Police,38 S&W cal,5 shot. Next is a 1922 year Police Positive,cal 38 from a NYC police agency. Bottom is a 1897 New Police in 32 cal.

That's a beautiful transitional model. I think that's the first one I've seen in nickel. That's back when they were still blueing the triggers and the backs and tops of the hammers on the nickel guns which I love. Especially in that fire blue. I'm going to see if I can guess the serial number...16479?

If I am not able to upload this, I apologize for I am not computer proficient. Here are two PPS from 1928 and 1938. For anyone interested in Colt/TV trivia, the PPS with the 5 inch barrel is the same model used in the open credit sequence to the old Adventures of Superman TV series from the 50's.

Here are a couple of pictures of my only Colt, a 1913 model Police Positive .38 Special. Grips are obviously not original but well fit and very old. Would like to find a pair of original grips some day. I will be also getting a (matching period?) holster that has been with this gun for a long time.

The serial number for this old Colt Positive Police Revolver is 76600. I was wondering what year this revolver was manufactured and also what is a value for the revolver. Also, I was wondering what Police Department this revolver came from? Thanks, Tad
